Spanish II
This is a course in which students continue to further develop and improve listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Emphasis is placed on comprehension of Spanish, as well as, reading and writing practice of the target language. Students will be required to use different activities in which they will be incorporating familiar vocabulary and different sentence structures. Spanish language and culture are introduced through the use of media, games, songs, readings and class discussions. Students are assessed using a variety of formats: oral dialogues, presentations, creative projects and other means.
Homework is assigned on a regular basis. Homework assignments are an integral part of this course as they not only reinforce concepts and skills that are introduced in class, but also enable students to participate in class discussions.
